About Us

O' Rita's Roasters, established in Brooklyn, New York, in September 2018, is operated by founder Eric Shane Busuttil and co-founder Nadia Vega-Busuttil. The company specializes in packaged specialty coffee beans sourced from Colombia and provides private and corporate food catering services.

As a certified minority-owned business enterprise with Empire State Development and the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, O' Rita's Roasters holds ACDBE (Airport Concessions Disadvantaged Business Enterprise) certifications from the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, the City and County of Denver, the City of Chicago, and the Texas Department of Transportation. Eric and Nadia's main objective is to start supplying coffee to airport concessions in these states.

In May 2024, Eric and Nadia successfully completed the Food Spark Program and earned an eCornell Food Product Development Certificate. This achievement was facilitated by the New York State Center of Excellence for Food and Agriculture at Cornell AgriTech (CoE), in collaboration with the Cornell Agriculture and Food Technology Park (Tech Farm).
